Emirates becomes official airline of French Open


For the 11th consecutive year, Emirates has been named the Official Airline and Premium Partner of the 2023 French Open, commonly known as the French Open.

A long-term partner of the French Open since 2013, the airline recently renewed its commitment as a senior partner of the Grand Slam until 2027. The top clay court event will be held at the French Open from May 28 to June 11.

Connect with Tennis Fans Worldwide
Emirates will connect with tennis fans this year through a number of exciting ‘Fly Better’ programmes, including: Interactive games on the Roland-Garros app, giving fans the chance to win Roland-Garros tickets and La Griffe Roland- Garros gifts; and world-class hospitality.

Collaboration with Roland-Garros since 2013
The airline became a Grand Slam Premium Partner in 2018 and has a prominent presence throughout the tournament, including branding at the Philippe-Chatrier Center Court, Suzanne-Lenglen Court and Simonne-Mathieu Court.

Emirates is also the host partner of the Trophée des Légendes, which takes place from 6 to 11 June 2023. Partnering with local organizations, the airline offers children with reduced mobility the chance to meet world-renowned tennis legends, watch matches, and get exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of the stadium.

Emirates is the Official Airline and Premier Partner of the ATP World Tour. The airline’s tennis program includes some of the world’s most high-profile events, including three of the four Grand Slams, as well as 60 other events throughout the year.

The airline’s extensive sponsorship portfolio also includes other top global sports such as tennis, golf, horse racing and sailing.

35 flights per week to France
Emirates has been serving France for over 30 years. The airline currently has 21 weekly flights to Paris, 7 weekly flights to Lyon and 7 weekly flights to Nice, with the iconic A380 returning to the city on June 1, 2023 . The airline’s extensive network of 140 destinations provides French customers with access to a range of subsequent connections to Asia, the Indian Ocean, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania.

Emirates is also the official main sponsor of the Olympic Games in Lyon (OL); Worldwide Partner of the Rugby World Cup in France 2023 (to be held this September); and is a proud sponsor of Team Emirates, supporting some of the biggest cycling tours such as the Tour de France game. – trade arab news agency
