From 6 November, Emirates will resume daily flights to Taipei after Taiwan’s reopening plan ends and end mandatory Covid-19 quarantine restrictions on arrivals
Emirates began direct daily flights to Taipei in 2014, operated by a Boeing 777.
The Dubai-Taipei route was later upgraded to a two-class A380 service per day in 2016.
Emirates flight EK366, operated by a Boeing 777, took off from Dubai at 2.50am and arrived in Taipei at 2.45pm. Flight EK367, returning from Taipei, took off at 11:45 pm and arrived in Dubai at 4:35 am the next day. All times are local time.
The increased frequency will provide Emirates passengers with more connections and options to and from Taiwan to help meet the demands of business and leisure air travel.
Eligible travelers can travel to Taiwan without a visa, and all inbound travelers are advised to undergo a 7-day self-health monitoring. Travellers are encouraged to review the latest entry requirements.
