ABU DHABI, 10th February, 2023 (WAM) — The four-day 17th Forum of UAE Ambassadors and Representatives of Missions Abroad brings together Ministers, Senior Officials, Ambassadors and UAE Missions Heads from 6th to 9th February. People held yesterday after their foreign attendance ended.
The hosting of the forum is part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s efforts to strengthen dialogue and engagement with the country’s ambassadors abroad, exchange views and discuss developments on various regional and international issues, coordinate and unify efforts to realize the aspirations of the UAE’s leadership , to further enhance the UAE’s diplomatic field.
The forum was attended by ministers, ambassadors and heads of UAE missions abroad, senior officials, directors of various departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as representatives of UAE government agencies and institutions from different fields, who discussed important issues.
In addition to regional and international events, issues and developments, the forum discussed key topics related to foreign policy, economy, culture, innovation, industry, advanced science, climate action and the UAE’s hosting of COP28.
Forum participants also discussed the main achievements and important milestones in the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The forum aims to facilitate dialogue between senior UAE diplomats and officials from various sectors within the country, with a view to enhancing cooperation between entities and building on existing achievements.
