ABU DHABI, 5th July, 2023 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi Customs has launched a new corporate identity, with the slogan “Abu Dhabi Customs…the gateway to the world’s land, sea and air”, along with its vision for the future , and be inspired by its rich history and important role in supporting the trade sector, economic growth and maintaining society.
Abu Dhabi Customs is one of the oldest government departments in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, established in 1966, and the launch of its new corporate identity marks a new beginning, aiming to consolidate its pioneering position globally as an application model to emulate. Best practices and standards in the customs working system that help facilitate trade flows, support the economy and enhance the safety and protection of communities.
The design of the new logo embodies simplicity, modernity and innovation, taking the form of a trade protection gateway, connecting Abu Dhabi as a global trade capital to the world by air, land and sea.
The design features dark green, which symbolizes the adoption of innovative solutions to develop advanced technology-based services and the sustainability of customs procedures, in line with the leadership and government’s direction to achieve sustainable development and conservation of resources.
Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, said that the announcement of the corporate identity is a new beginning. We will move towards a journey of excellence, improve the level of customs work, realize the vision of becoming a world-class customs authority, and support the consolidation of Abu Dhabi. Compare to its status as a global capital of trade, investment and commerce, and strengthen the emirate’s position as the safest and most secure city in the world.
He added: “The new logo is not just a cosmetic change in sync with modern trends. It is a driving force that will lead us to enhance our vital role by streamlining procedures, developing customs services, strengthening security controls, and serving the commercial sector. “Support investment growth and strengthen the UAE’s position as a global partner, as an attractive and influential economic center that competes with the world’s best ” vision, and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030. “
