Emirates News Agency – Abu Dhabi Customs wins ‘Most Influential HR Leader Award’ in ME


ABU DHABI, 9th March, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Customs Administration, represented by the Director of Human Resources, has received the ‘HR Icons Award’, which honors the most influential Human Resources in the field Leaders Middle East, hosted by the human resources professional (ETHRWorld) platform, affiliated to the leading newspaper in the economic and trade field (The Economic Times).
The award recognizes outstanding leaders in the field of human resource management who have achieved tangible achievements, groundbreaking work and outstanding initiatives in their organizations.
The honor is based on the human resources achievements of Abu Dhabi Customs in adopting international best practices in its strategic transformation process to establish an empowered digital institutional environment serving the customs work system by providing service excellence and enhancing the capabilities of functional cadres. In addition to pioneering efforts in managing its human capital by applying full-scale automation using artificial intelligence and advanced technologies in the HR field to keep pace with changes, needs and future visions. Abu Dhabi Customs is the first government agency in the Middle East to implement the (Full Oracle HCM Cloud Suite with Analytics Enterprise) project and the first government agency in Abu Dhabi to be listed as a Best Place to Work, in addition to winning the 2022 International Stevie Awards Gold Award for Best Organization to Work For.
