The 2022 event, held in the Al Wathba desert, attracted more than 5,000 male and female competitors from 75 countries around the world.
The finalists will compete for the men’s and women’s world titles on Dec. 9, while the world team championships will be held on Dec. 10.
Opening Day on December 8 will be dedicated to hosting all competitors in preparation for the start of the competition the next day.
Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Sparta will also organize community competitions for all ages between events as part of the Sports Council’s strategy to ensure global events remain an opportunity for participation and quality of life for all members of society.
