ABU DHABI, 24th April, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi Police Department, ADP, and the Abu Dhabi Center for Asylum and Humanitarian Care, Ewaa, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) comprehensive services for victims.

The MoU was signed by Major General Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Director of ADP’s Criminal Security Division, and Sarah Ibrahim Shuhail, Director General of the Centre. The MoU aims to combat all forms of violence and human trafficking, and to help victims recover locally, regionally and globally.

According to the MOU, the two parties will coordinate and cooperate in handling reports of violence and human trafficking, develop a framework for ADP’s procedures for receiving cases at the Ewaa Center, exchange knowledge and expertise, raise public awareness in related fields, and jointly organize conferences, seminars , workshops, training programs in human rights-related fields, and exchange of relevant reports, global indices, legislation and relevant legal research.

The MOU marks a collaboration between the two entities, demonstrating both parties’ desire to strengthen collaboration and partnership towards the shared goal of providing comprehensive services to victims of violence and human trafficking.
