ABU DHABI, 10th February, 2023 (WAM) — The Abu Dhabi School of Government, ADSG, has launched its General Professional Programme, comprising 16 courses with a self-paced learning approach.
The launch is part of ADSG’s unwavering efforts to enhance sustainable digital learning in line with the Abu Dhabi Human Capital Development Strategy.
The launch of these programs is part of the ‘ADSG Connect’ campaign, under the slogan ‘Connect for Integration’, which will be held regularly by ADSG to keep participants abreast of developments and the latest learning and development initiatives hosted by Abu Dhabi Academy of Government supply.
The event is in line with ADSG’s efforts to foster networking among HR professionals and will provide an opportunity for participants to share their queries with the team for responses.
The event offered attendees a unique and enjoyable experience, which included a general professional program presentation held in the cinema hall, presenting clips of educationally scripted performances presented in the Emirati dialect. These are the most important learning tools offered by these programs.
The programs aim to advance expertise and knowledge in eight areas, including work agility, capacity building, increasing efficiency, data utilization, engaging others, focused delivery, service excellence and digital agility. The programs are divided into 8 professional tracks for Abu Dhabi Government staff at levels 3 and 4 and 8 administrative tracks for employees at job levels 5 to 7.
These programs are designed to enable participants to develop and enhance their skills in line with the needs and vision of the Abu Dhabi Government. This is achieved by providing participants with hands-on educational experiences that enable them to excel in their careers and by implementing the knowledge gained from the training program to motivate them to become role models in respected entities.
The programs will offer a unique learning experience, guiding participants through a series of educational modules to develop their competencies through scripted performance segments in Emirati dialects, podcasts, 2D infographics, tests and interactive games.
Professional course designers, 2D infographic designers, and educational media production experts designed the courses. Each program offers an extraordinary educational journey, with unique and individual qualities that enrich the learner’s experience. Snippets of educational scripted performances presented in Arabic in the Emirati dialect are one of the main learning tools in these courses as they provide a fun and engaging learning tool that delivers effective results.

All programs will be delivered through ADSG’s Learning Center platform, and participants’ performance and interaction will be assessed against the outlined learning objectives.
