LONDON, 30th April, 2023 (WAM) — The European Conference of Arabian Horse Organizations, ECAHO, has added two headlines to its Middle Eastern Championships.
At its 40th annual general meeting in London over two days, ECAHO decided to hold the International Arabian Horse Festival in Abu Dhabi next year, with another festival to be held in any country that wishes to host it.
With these new headline shows, ECAHO’s Gulf events agenda includes four of the prestigious and biggest championships, including the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Arabian Horse Festival (PSAIAHF) in the Saudi capital Riyadh and the Qatari Lara International Arabian Horse Festival (KIAHF) in Doha, Qatar.
Mohammed Al Harbi, Director General of the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) and member of the Executive Office of ECAHO, said ECAHO’s decision to host the prestigious Arabian Horse Festival in Abu Dhabi underscores the equestrian industry’s recognition of the important role the UAE plays in supporting Arabian horse racing around the world Horse racing all over the place.
He pointed out that the “Title Show” tournament is one of the most important and world-ranked programs in ECAHO.
As it is a celebration of Arabian horses, the festival plays a key role in encouraging owners of purebred Arabian horses. It motivates them to improve their breeding programs and breed the beauty of the breed.
The Arabian horse has played an important role in the history and development of Arabian culture and is held in high regard by all who choose to be part of the equestrian world of this amazing animal.
