ABU DHABI, 9th December, 2022 (WAM) — Under the auspices of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the G20 Interfaith Forum (IF20), the world’s leading organization, Focusing on the intersection of faith and policy at the G20 level, a global forum will be held in Abu Dhabi on 12-13 December 2022.
The UAE is hosting the event as part of its ongoing initiatives to promote cultural interaction and global integration, as well as strengthen its global leadership in this field.
The forum will reflect on the complex global agenda addressed when the G20 summit meets in Bali in mid-November, and will look ahead to the complex agenda facing the world community in 2023. The Abu Dhabi 2022 forum will be the kick-off for the G20 summit in Indonesia in November and the G20 agenda for 2023, with India being the host for 2023. Its outcomes will contribute to the agenda of the G20 summit in 2023 and beyond.
The annual G20 Interfaith Forum event is enriched by regional meetings, dedicated working group efforts and strong policy recommendations.
IF20 is a forum with a long-term focus on the G20, and also draws on earlier engagements related to the G7 and G8. It looks forward to continuing and expanding its efforts at India 2023, Brazil 2024, South Africa 2025 and all upcoming G20 summits.
