Emirates News Agency – ICV-certified companies offer special deals on Etihad flights

ABU DHABI, 3rd July, 2023 (WAM) — Companies certified under the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology’s (MoIAT) National Domestic Value (ICV) scheme can enjoy Special Offers on Etihad Airways Flight Transport and Miles October 1, 2023.

The initiative is part of MoIAT’s partnership with Emirates, which was announced at the “Make it in the Emirates Forum” in May this year.

Companies with ICV certification will benefit from Etihad Airways’ extensive service network covering Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent and Africa. This access will enable ICV-certified companies to develop new global markets for their local products via passenger and cargo aircraft.

In addition, ICV-certified companies will have the opportunity to earn miles for in-flight flights during the two-month period from August 1st to the end of September.

MoIAT aims to expand the scope of the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Program to include new industries, in line with the National Industrial and Advanced Technology Strategy, and aims to build the reputation of UAE products in the global market, enhance their competitiveness, and create an attractive environment for the UAE. business environment. Invest in strengthening local supply chains.

The program currently includes 28 federal and local government entities and businesses.

Etihad Airways will prioritize local suppliers and companies after joining the National Connected Vehicle Initiative in 2021. The introduction of the new rates complements the airline’s agreement with the ministry to further empower domestic companies.
