Emirates News Agency – MoFAIC, Burjeel Holdings sign MoU on provision of medical services

ABU DHABI, 19th May, 2023 (WAM) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, MoFAIC, and Burjeel Holdings have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, on the provision of specialized healthcare services for MoFAIC employees and their families.

The agreement stimulates the desire of both parties to consolidate existing areas of cooperation and exchange and to benefit from various activities and engagements related to the provision of medical services.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the Ministry by Abdullah Mohammad Alblooki, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services, and Omran Al Khoori, Burjeel Holdings Board Member and Group Business Development President.

The agreement is envisioned to strengthen the infrastructure for coordinated and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two parties, demonstrating the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to ensuring quality health care for its employees and their families.

Burjeel Holdings’ excellent reputation and strong healthcare delivery capabilities, as evidenced by its state-of-the-art hospitals, contribute to the provision of a high level of medical care to Ministry of Health employees and their families.

According to the signed agreement, Al Blooki reiterated that “the Ministry seeks to achieve strategic goals through this collaboration, especially to improve the quality of life through comprehensive and active health and treatment services. Underpinned by the promotion of socially responsible initiatives, awareness campaigns at national and local levels, and health systems that support shared sporting and cultural activities.”

For his part, Al Khoori said: “We are proud and honored by this valuable partnership, which adds to our important achievements in the UAE health sector. We are also pleased to play our role in serving and meeting needs role in terms of social responsibility for those working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. This reinforces the need for integration between roles”.
