Emirates News Agency – Non-resident UAE Ambassador presents credentials to King of Tonga

NUKUALOFA, Tonga, 9th December, 2022 (WAM) — Rashid Matar Alkemzi, as the UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to Tonga, presented King Tupou of Tonga at a ceremony at the Presidential Palace His Majesty VI delivered his credentials.

During the meeting, Al Qemzi conveyed the message from President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and their best wishes to His Majesty King Tupou VI and the further development and prosperity of the people of Tonga.

In turn, His Majesty King Tupou VI conveyed his greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , along with his best wishes for further development and prosperity to the people of the UAE.

His Majesty King Tupou VI wished Al Qemzi success in strengthening relations between the two countries, while stressing his country’s willingness to support him in carrying out his duties.

For his part, Al Qemzi is proud to represent the UAE in Tonga and is eager to continue developing bilateral relations in key areas to strengthen the bond of friendship between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations to realize the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
