BAKU, 1st March, 2023 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan today to lead the UAE delegation to the Tomorrow’s NAM summit in Baku will be attended by a large number of heads of state, prime ministers and representatives of the movement’s member states.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev greeted at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport the Ruler of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, along with UAE Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohamed Murad Al Balushi and some officials.
The summit, chaired by Azerbaijan, will explore prospects for enhanced cooperation and joint action to address issues of international concern, as well as the role of the Non-Aligned Movement in strengthening collective action to build international peace, stability and security.
The delegation accompanying the ruler of the Republic of Kazakhstan included Minister of Health and Prevention Abdurrahman bin Mohammad Owais, Ministers of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Malal and Yusuf Mohammad Serkar. Hamad Al Rahma Al Shamsi, Director-General of the Emirates Health Service (EHS) and Director of the RAK Ruler’s Office.
