Emirates News Agency – Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed attends Zayed University’s Class of 2023 graduation ceremony

ABU DHABI, 21st June, 2023 (WAM) — Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Zayed University held a graduation ceremony for the 2023 Class of Future Makers. Omar Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, and other dignitaries at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
The total number of students celebrated at the two ceremonies on 20-21 June 2023 was 2,096 students, 93% of whom were UAE nationals. Consisting of the 21st class of female undergraduates, the 11th class of male undergraduates and selected masters graduates from the seven faculties of Zayed University.
Addressing the audience, H.E. Omar Al Alama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications, emphasized the importance of innovation and adaptability in a rapidly evolving world.
Omar Al Olama said: “As we witness rapid technological advances in areas such as artificial intelligence, your education at Zayed University equips you with the challenges and opportunities of the digital age. knowledge and skills. Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi addressed graduates in a video from the International Space Station.
