As Rapporteur on the outcomes of the IPU meeting to be held during COP28, Al Suwaidi said that by organizing COP28, the UAE aims to highlight the critical role of youth in combating climate change and to showcase their ideas and initiatives, engaging them in shaping their future, and the future of future generations.
The briefing was part of IPU’s Young Parliamentarian Empowerment Programme, which aims to empower youth to enhance their political knowledge, experience and skills through training courses, workshops and dialogues with local and global leaders and experts.
