ABU DHABI, 17th June, 2023 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, was received today by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, King of Bahrain, at his official residence in Abu Dhabi. Received by His Majesty Sa Al Khalifa.
The two leaders recalled the strong historical ties between the UAE and Bahrain and prayed for the continued stability and progress of their countries and peoples.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and His Majesty King Hamad discussed ways to further strengthen the bilateral relationship to advance the common development aspirations of both countries and enable the continued progress of the UAE and the people of Bahrain.
The leaders of the two countries also exchanged views on some regional and international issues.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency, accompanied His Highness at the meeting; His Highness Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Sheikh Theab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Special Advisor to the Presidential Court Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan.
The delegation accompanying His Majesty King Hamad included Lieutenant General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Commander of the Royal Guard and the King’s Humanitarian and Youth Representative; Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, advisor to the King on foreign affairs; and some chiefs and senior officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
