From 29 March, Emirates will increase the frequency of its daily direct flights from its Dubai hub to Hong Kong, adding to its existing daily Dubai-Hong Kong service via Bangkok.
The move increases the airline’s operations in the market to 14 weekly flights. The restored service will provide passengers with increased capacity, choice and flexibility as the airline continues to expand its global operations in line with continued international travel demand.
Emirates flight EK380, operated by an Airbus A380, will depart Dubai at 10:45 and arrive in Hong Kong at 22:00. Return flight EK381 will depart from Hong Kong at 00:35 and arrive in Dubai at 05:00. All times are local time.
By resuming its Dubai-Hong Kong flights EK380/EK381, Emirates is responding to growing demand on the route and offering passengers the option to fly direct or interrupt their journey in Bangkok.
As one of Emirates’ key destinations in Asia, the airline reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Hong Kong’s post-pandemic recovery, increasing its capacity to serve passengers departing from or connecting to Dubai from other cities in its global network.
Throughout the pandemic, Emirates has supported the local community by maintaining trade links between Hong Kong and other strategic markets within its network, successfully transporting imports and exports through its airfreight arm, Emirates SkyCargo.
Emirates is also offering passengers more connections to destinations outside of Hong Kong through interline agreements with companies such as Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Airlines.
The Emirates A380 experience is highly sought after by travelers for its spacious and comfortable cabin and signature products that give passengers the best in-flight experience such as in-flight lounges, first class suites and spa showers. The A380 experience is always rounded off with award-winning hospitality, creative local cuisine and authentic flavors, as well as ice, the airline’s award-winning in-flight entertainment system, with over 5,000 channels of on-demand entertainment at easy access to every customer.
Emirates currently deploys its flagship A380 to 40 destinations around the world, including London Heathrow, Sydney and Houston. By the end of this summer, the airline’s signature double-decker planes will serve nearly 50 destinations. – trade arab news agency
