All this is to celebrate International Chicken Wing Day…
This weekend, Abu Dhabi in Berry is spreading its little wings and learning to fly.
Beginning Thursday, imports from Los Angeles restaurants, popular with celebrities such as Gigi Hadid, will soar in the air on the capital’s rare International Chicken Wing Day. For three consecutive days, they will distribute part of their famous buffalo wings to discerning diners completely free of charge.
A wing bound them
You will have to buy a main one to match your (usually Dh48) wings, but there are many series to choose from. From delicious lobster pizza to luxurious truffled porcini spaghetti, connoisseurs of classic cutting can choose filet mignon, or if you like to pair hot wing turf with a bit of spicy waves, you can choose Cajun spice mixed seafood.
Just because it has celebrity followers does not mean it has those celebrity prices. The main course starts at only Dh65, and Gigi’s favorite lobster pizza is only Dh98, and you will fly and sing.
One wing governs them
Berri’s also offers an excellent range of desserts that can help you end your food with a sweet chorus-panini ice cream, French toast, saffron milk cake, tiramisu and San Sebastian cheesecake.
Berri’s, Al Muneera Plaza Al Raha, provides free wingspan from 9 am to midnight every day, from Thursday, July 29 to Saturday, July 31. Phone: (02) 643 9555, Berry Subfamily
