plentiful, the cutting-edge gamified e-learning platform that has revolutionized the personal development of K-12 students, is expanding to the United Arab Emirates. The company was selected as one of six growth-stage startups selected by Techstars Anjal-Z to secure $220,000 in non-equity funding in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA). The move comes as Enrichly continues to gain global recognition for its innovative use of technology, gamification and data to foster self-esteem and personal growth. With this expansion, Enrichly is poised to make a significant impact in the UAE and beyond, bringing its unique brand of immersive learning to a global audience.

Enrichly’s vision is to give children the tools they need to succeed through self-esteem. Enrichly founder Margo Jordan suffered from low self-esteem due to childhood trauma. However, her military service helped her realize the importance of self-esteem and the need to address low self-esteem in children from an early age. Her determination led to the creation of Enrichly. The company’s gamification platform leverages data and is building machine learning models to improve children’s self-esteem, focusing on a variety of different topic areas, including self-image, self-identity, etiquette, healthy relationships, and more.

Enrichly’s logical model suggests that by educating youth in these areas, they will achieve short-, medium-, and long-term outcomes. Short-term outcomes represent changes in learning, while medium- and long-term outcomes represent changes in behavior and conditioning, respectively.

Enrichly co-founder Anthony Forstner joined the company after a year of running the platform. As a veteran, he is passionate about Enrichly’s mission. Childhood poverty prevented him from reaching his full potential, so it was important to pass on the wisdom he learned to his children.

Enrichly has been selected by several prestigious programs including Google for Startups, Masschallenge, and IBM Mentorship Program, as well as Techstars Atlanta backed by JP Morgan, and has received over $500,000 in collective funding. The company is currently developing the product and kicking off an official fundraising campaign for a May launch.

Enrichly’s entry into Abu Dhabi is a major milestone for the company. Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority is a government agency in Abu Dhabi, and Enrichly is now partnering with ECA’s Anjal-Z programme. Enrichly was selected from hundreds of applicants as one of six applicants from Abu Dhabi. Anjal Z’s goal is to enable global startups to scale growth when companies feel the need to grow further. The program encourages innovative businesses to use their research to address early childhood development challenges in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE. By leveraging key partnerships with a personalized approach, the fellowship program aims to foster the growth of these companies and gain a foothold in the region. Enrichly has received funding from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and was hand-picked by the royal family. This further demonstrates its commitment to improving children’s self-esteem globally.

Enrichly is currently working with charter and public schools in the region to pilot a program tailored specifically for the UAE. To ensure this, the company is adding culturally relevant content to each module and bringing local Emirati people into the programme. The program is available in Arabic and English, and the pilot will go live in July 2023.

“We are excited to expand our reach globally and believe our program will help reduce violence, poverty, self-neglect and suicide. Our goal is to launch an international platform where people around the world self-esteem development. We thank Abu Dhabi Investment Office, ECA, Techstars and the Royal Family for their support. We are eager to collaborate with other private groups in the country to further our mission of improving children’s self-esteem and mental health”, Margo Jordan , founder plentiful.
