The Queen Popular YouTube Video Series “The Greatest Live” Return to “Episode 4: Rehearsing Part 4”. Fans are invited to witness this momentous behind-the-scenes process, with exclusive footage of Brian May and Roger Taylor rehearsing the classic Brian May-written Queen song ’39’ showing the hard work behind 2012’s make-or-break concert, heralding the band’s new chapter. While every Queen show is special, some are more significant. On June 30, 2012, founding members Brian and Roger are preparing for their first full concert with new lead singer Adam Lambert at Maidan Square in Kyiv, Ukraine. Hosting a benefit event for the Elena Pinchuk AIDS Foundation in front of more than 350,000 fans and a television audience of millions, it was the night the new queen lineup proved it had wings.

“There was a camaraderie,” Adam recalled on a previous episode, “The Greatest Queen.” “It was a feeling that all of us immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. We all kicked each other out. It just felt right.”

Fans will also be thrilled with a behind-the-scenes look at ’39 in Rehearsal Part 4. Highlights of 1975 night at the operaone of Brian’s best compositions, this upbeat and sentimental song, driven by twelve-string acoustics and layered harmonies, tells the story of a group of space voyagers who return to Earth to discover that time works without them and their loved ones. Cases move on with stories that are now old or gone.
