Equestrian fair Adihex to be held in September

The 20th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (Adnec) from September 2-8, highlighting the latest in equestrian, falconry, hunting, camping and more Technologies, innovations and trends.

The exhibition will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Falconry Club, under the theme “Sustainability and Heritage . . . the wish to be reborn”.

The last edition of Adihex saw a leap in the number of participants and visitors, confirming its leading position as a global platform and the largest event of its kind in the Middle East and Africa for hunting professionals, enthusiasts and amateurs.

The exhibition attracted 150,000 visitors from various countries, and the total area increased by 20%, exceeding 60,000 square meters, with more than 900 exhibitors and brands from 58 countries participating. Adihex is honored by the presence of His Highnesses, dignitaries, policy makers, businessmen and visitors from the UAE and the GCC.

Emirates Falconry Club is organizing the 20th edition of Adihex, with sponsors including Abu Dhabi Environment Authority, Houbara Conservation International and ADNEC, and exhibition partners including Mohamed bin Zayed Raptor Conservation Foundation, Emirates Equestrian and Horse Racing Federation of Associations, European Institute of Falconry and Conservation, International Society for the Conservation of Falconry and Raptors, Dubai International Equestrian Expo and French Game Expo.

The last edition saw 127 speakers showcase their expertise, skills and experience in 134 specialized workshops spread across four educational platforms: Sustainability; Outdoor Adventure; Arts and Crafts; and connection with nature.

In addition to educational activities, innovative arts, cultural and science competitions, and camel, falcon and horse auctions, the event features more than 150 live performances of birds of prey, salukis, police dogs, heritage displays and sporting competitions. .
