Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will increase its non-stop flights between Abu Dhabi and Jakarta from one to two flights a day from 1 October 2023.
The flights will be operated using Etihad’s fleet of modern Boeing B787 and B777 aircraft, offering passengers comfortable seating, personal inflight entertainment systems and award-winning service.
“Etihad Airways is delighted to facilitate air connectivity between Abu Dhabi and Indonesia, one of the fastest growing economies in the world,” said Arik De, Chief Revenue Officer, Etihad Airways.
“Our new flight has been optimized to arrive in Abu Dhabi early in the morning, allowing travelers from Indonesia to explore the sights of our vibrant capital city first. At the same time, our new service leverages our recently expanded partnership with Garuda The relationship with Indonesia will make it easier for UAE residents to visit Jakarta or one of 20 other destinations in Indonesia.”
The enhanced air link will support the growth of trade and tourism between both parties, and reaffirms Etihad Airways’ commitment to supporting inbound tourism.
