Etihad Airways opens new early check-in facility for year-end holiday peak

As the UAE prepares to host extraordinary celebrations for the country’s golden jubilee, and many tourists plan to visit the country, many residents also seize the opportunity to travel abroad during public holidays. Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi International Airport are expected to welcome a large number of passengers in the next week, and this situation will continue as the school holiday begins in mid-December.

Etihad Airways has opened a special advance check-in facility at Abu Dhabi International Airport to make the travel experience as smooth as possible. The service is available from November 25 to December 31 and allows passengers to check in from 8 hours to 24 hours before flight departure.

Using this service, one person can check in and check baggage on behalf of family members traveling together, but must present the entire group’s travel and COVID-19 related documents. The early check-in desk is open from 9 am to 4 am, 7 days a week, and is located on the third floor of Skypark Plaza. Guests using this facility will receive two hours of free parking at Skypark upon check-in.

In addition, guests can also use Etihad’s Home Check-In service to check in comfortably at home. Before leaving home, check your luggage, choose your seat, and collect your boarding pass and luggage tag. When the flight time comes, you can skip the line and go to the airport easily. Starting at 220 AED, travelers can use promo code EYWINTER10 to save 10% on all family check-in packages before January 15, 2022.
