When will Britain’s Got Talent return to TV?
Britain’s Got Talent’s new series begins filming auditions at London’s Palladium Theater on Tuesday 24 January.
The first few rounds of the competition are pre-recorded, and then the show goes to a live knockout round before the finale.

No exact start date has been announced, but the show usually runs from mid-April to late May or early June, airing every Saturday on ITV1.
Who will judge this year’s Britain’s Got Talent?
The change in judges is big news for the show, which is celebrating a decade with the same star cast in the 2022 series.
However, before dance miracle Judge Bruno Tonioli has now been confirmed to replace David Williams.
He joins Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, who have been around since season one, and former Strict Team co-star Alesha Dixon, who joined the show in 2012.
It was a huge success for ITV, as Tonioli spent 17 series at the BBC alongside Strictly as one of the competition’s original judges, before pandemic travel restrictions prevented him from participating and eventually withdrew.
Hosts Ant and Dec also returned to host again.
What happened to David Williams?
Comedian and children’s author David Walliams has had a successful 10 years on the judging panel, but that’s overshadowed ahead of the 2023 series.
November 2022, protector revealed a leaked recording of the show’s 2020 audition, in which he was heard making insulting remarks about contestants.
Williams was heard calling one contestant a “c***” and said of another woman who auditioned: “She’s like that kind of bored girl you meet at a bar and thinks you want to fuck them , but you didn’t”

He apologized, saying: “I want to apologize to anyone I made a disrespectful comment on the sidelines of the filming of Britain’s Got Talent 2020.
“These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. I’m sorry, though.”
Who wins Britain’s Got Talent 2022?
The winner of the final series was comedian Axel Black.
He was a popular winner, but when it was discovered that Blake had Produced an Amazon Prime Video special His stand-up comedy show — questioned whether he could be classified as an amateur.
Blake defended his appearance on the streaming service in an interview with Lorraine, saying: “I put that show on myself, I just put my money where my mouth is and I did it. That’s it, it looks like Like ‘oh my gosh, it’s Amazon Prime. But if they look at the back end, it doesn’t look like that financially. All the stress, I have to borrow money from people.”
He added: “After that, Amazon picked it up. It’s not Amazon Prime. I don’t know they’re going to pick it up, that’s a year from now.”
Simon Cowell also backed him up, saying: “I know you’re a little bit of a stickler in the media – ‘Here’s a solution because you’ve been on another show.’ That’s what a show like this is all about, You give someone another chance.”
