There’s no better place to have fun in the fall than Lancaster County. Here are five of our region’s corn mazes to explore this month.
Cherry Crown Adventure Farm
Cherry Crest is the Corn Maze Champion. This year, the maze celebrating America’s national parks was ranked third in USA TODAY’s 10Best readers’ poll. (Cherry Crest is number one in 2020). Expect to spend about an hour in this 5-acre corn maze, which offers over 2.5 miles of trails. If you get lost and need help getting back on track, Maze Masters is ready to help. When ordered online, tickets start at $21.95 on weekdays and $29.95 on Saturdays, including other events at the farm. Cherry Crest Adventure Farm is located at 150 Cherry Hill Road in Ronks. Amish farm and house
Explore quilt patterns at Amish Farm and House’s 2-acre corn maze. Be sure to grab a treasure hunt map from the lobby area; it will help you navigate the maze. Tickets are $13 for adults and $9 for children. Tickets include access to the Hay Cart, Pumpkin Chuckin’, Petting Zoo and more. After kids explore the cornfield trails at Corn Cob Acres, they can visit Corn Cob Acres’ new playground, built from a converted John Deere combine. Also added this year is a 42-foot diameter corn bin filled with playable hulled corn. There is also a new dining option on-site, the Sweet Shoppe. Oregon Dairy
Oregon Dairy’s 2022 “Thank-a-Trucker” corn maze honors those who work hard to get our goods delivered. The 13-acre maze is included with general admission to the farm in October, and visitors can also take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, ride the barrel train, corn launchers and new games like grain basketball. Tickets for ages 3-64 are $13 when ordered online. A Touch-a-Truck food event is also planned for October 22nd. Donate and get $2 off admission on the day. country barn
Barnyard Kingdom at Country Barn includes a 5-acre corn maze, slides, a bouncy pumpkin and other fall fun. bonus? It is open on October 10th Columbus Day 11am-5pm Regular hours are Friday and Saturday 11am-10pm (last entry 9pm) and Sunday 11am-pm 5 o’clock. Tickets start at $15.
