Expo 2020 Dubai: How to use the Dubai Metro to get to the venue-News

A reporter from Khaleej Times took a train from Jebel Ali Metro Station to the center of the Expo 2020 Dubai site on Friday morning.

The Dubai Metro Expo 2020 station is officially open to the public today, as the first Expo in the region will start on October 1 and last for six months.

Although the normal working hours of the Dubai Metro start at 10 am on Friday, the train now starts at 8 am.

The KT team parked their car at the Jebel Ali station, which provided a huge free parking area.

As people go to this large-scale event known as hope, invention, and collaboration with multiple architectural miracles, people’s expectations have reached a climax.

Today is also the first full day of Expo 2020 The star-studded opening ceremony on Thursday night.

In fact, some government officials also went to the site of the 2020 World Expo and took the subway to participate in the grand opening ceremony.

Jebel station runs from Al Rashidiya station on the red line to the Expo 2020 station. The fare from this station is 7.5 dirhams.

If subway users don’t want to line up, they can recharge their NOL card.

The subway train passes through five stations and finally arrives at the Expo 2020 site.

The Expo 2020 Station and Dubai Investment Park Station were recently opened on the new 2020 route of the Metro Red Line in June.

We met two people on Route 2020.

Kai Kirn, a subway passenger and German tourist who came here to work mainly during the Expo 2020, said: “I am a technician at the German Pavilion. That’s why I traveled so early. I just arrived in Dubai two weeks ago.”

“There is a lot of buzz around the Expo and it is clear that people are looking forward to a lot of things. I look forward to spending a good time here. Besides, I hope this is a great learning experience for me.”

Another early subway user, Titus Shigwedha, a Namibian national, said: “I am one of the managers of the food brands we displayed there. We will be part of Terra’s sustainable development project. I am very happy to be a part of the Dubai Expo. We look forward to bringing new cuisine to Dubai.”

The Expo 2020 station can accommodate up to 29,000 passengers per hour during peak hours, with the Expo Park and COEX Expo on the east side, and shopping malls and urban complexes on the west side.

For all lines, from Sunday to Wednesday, Dubai Metro Station will now be open from 5 am to 1.15 am and at 2.15 am on Thursday night.
