Two attractions you need to visit at Expo 2020 Dubai…

Expo 2020 Dubai will open on Friday, October 1st. With the exciting opening approaching, the Expo 2020 team announced two new attractions that visitors need to add to their list of attractions: sky garden and water feature.

Check out the video below shared by the Dubai Expo 2020 team on their official Instagram account.

The following is our understanding of these two attractions.

Sky garden

Now, if you have lived in the UAE long enough, you will most likely have been to At The Top in Burj Khalifa or check out the newly opened Palm Island LandscapeWell, the 2020 Dubai World Expo has just announced that it will have its own observation deck 55 meters above the ground.

The viewing tower cabin can rise and fall, and can rotate, providing a 360-degree panoramic view of the 4.38 square kilometers of the Expo 2020 Dubai site.

But why is it called the sky garden? Well, the upper level of the attraction is planted with the peltophorum inerme tree, also known as the yellow flame tree-hence the name. You may see these trees around many parks and landscapes in Dubai.

You can find a viewing park in Jubilee Park, where you can also find dozens of food stores, large art installations, Jubilee stages and more.

Waterscape of Expo 2020

Another attraction not to be missed is the waterscape of Expo 2020. The attraction combines elements of water, earth and fire.

In this attraction, huge water will roll down from the 13-meter-high wall during the day. The 153 individual waves range from shimmering sheets to water leaping off the walls during a sharp drop. However, at night, magical things happen, because water flows up the wall, completely ignoring gravity.

There will be three openings in the center of the attraction that will take visitors below the ground. Here, visitors can walk to the bottom of the waterfall and see how the water disappears through the stones.

The attraction is accompanied by orchestral scores by award-winning composers. game of Thrones Theme music. The gushing water is synchronized with the masterpiece of orchestral music played by the London Symphony Orchestra.

At the center of the attraction is a mysterious circle of fire, which produces a huge flame of red, green and yellow tones. In keeping with the sustainability theme of Expo 2020, these huge flames are pure hydrogen and therefore do not produce carbon.

If you are wondering, yes-this is the same cutting-edge technology used to create the famous dancing fountain of Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

We can’t wait to check this out!
