Expo Dubai releases innovation impact report – Dubai Blog

In today’s event held at Expo 2020 Dubai, UBI Global and District 2020 have released a new innovation impact report. Best practices and networks to support entrepreneurial development and meet the 2020 school district’s focus on planning a global innovation ecosystem.

This report, powered by the technology company Global Innovation Studios, an intelligence company headquartered in Sweden, examines the impact of the pandemic and social and governance initiatives on innovators in the global business world. In addition to incubators and accelerators, the report also reveals the impact of these external factors on corporate innovation teams.

The research brings together the contributions and success stories of organizations from more than 45 countries/regions and was launched during the 2020 Dubai World Expo. Expo 2020 brings together innovation, creativity and collaboration, and its mission will continue when the large-scale event ends and the venue transitions to the 2020 zone, a people-oriented future city living, working and exploring. The 2020 school district aims to draw a blueprint for a smart and sustainable community in which people and businesses collaborate to create a more balanced, resilient and sustainable lifestyle. As an innovation ecosystem, the 2020 zone will support the development of key industries and technologies that are shaping the future of sustainable urban environments in the post-pandemic world.

During the event, the world’s top business incubators and accelerator groups including SETsquared (UK), GVA (Russian Federation), DMZ (Canada) and Plug and Play (UAE) also conducted in-depth research on the research results. The further panel discussion on corporate start-up collaboration led by Founder Institute Regional Director Sameer Sortur featured innovative experts from Dubai’s leading companies, including Emirates, Etisalat and Siemens.

The event also announced the next World Incubation Summit, which will be held in the fourth quarter of 2022 in the fourth quarter of 2020, and will then develop as a vibrant community from the 2020 Dubai World Expo. The World Incubation Summit will bring together more than 500 participants from global start-up projects and corporate innovation teams to participate in a series of rich seminars, networks, tours, promotions, evenings and awards ceremonies. As a result of the world benchmark study, UBI Global also announced the world ranking of business incubators and accelerators at the World Incubation Summit, which will start in the spring of 2022.
