EZDubai, a fully dedicated e-commerce free zone strategically located in the heart of the Dubai South logistics district, has launched the expansion of DHL Express with the launch of a state-of-the-art last-mile logistics center.
DHL Express’ new facility will benefit from EZDubai’s strategic location, customized services, operational solutions and innovative ecosystem to accelerate the rapid growth of the logistics industry across the region and support e-commerce players in reaching their potential global consumers.
To celebrate the opening of the world-class logistics and e-commerce hub, Nour Suliman, CEO of DHL Middle East and North Africa, toured the facility together with Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of Dubai South Logistics, and other senior executives from both entities in Dubai.

The 88,555-square-foot solar-powered logistics facility has a floor area of ​​33,476 square feet and provides an integrated ecosystem for airside and landside operations, with future expansion potential to increase capacity by an additional 164.5%. The last-mile facility will also provide customs-cleared imports and police-controlled exports, including X-ray inspections and bonded storage.
It is also equipped with an automatic two-way conveyor system for more efficient parcel sorting. The logistics center will handle 3,000 inbound and 2,600 inbound and outbound transhipment shipments per hour and an average of 5,000 shipments per day, enabling it to serve customers in the UAE and the region.
