FansUnite Entertainment Inc (TSX: FANS, OTCQX: FUNFF) said it has submitted a vendor license application to the Virginia Lottery Commission to become a legal sports betting and online gaming vendor in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Virginia is one of the most coveted states for U.S. carriers. Since sports betting became legal in Virginia in April 2022, sports betting in the state has totaled more than $4.1 billion.
Once licensed, FansUnite will be able to deploy its Chameleon iGaming platform and player account management (PAM) system in the state.

As part of FansUnite’s US expansion strategy, the company plans to apply for gaming licenses in more gaming jurisdictions, namely Massachusetts and Indiana, in addition to Virginia, to expand its B2B and affiliate business.
