flydubai launches first flight to Olbia, Italy

Dubai-based flydubai today celebrated its inaugural service to Olbia, becoming the first Emirates airline to operate direct flights from Dubai.

This marks the start of three weekly flights to Olbia’s Emerald Coast Airport (OLB) as part of its seasonal operation and the expansion of its network in Italy to Catania, Milano Bega Mo, Naples and Pisa five locations.

The inaugural flight landed at Olbia Emerald Airport (OLB) to a water cannon salute and warm welcome by airport officials led by Olbia Emerald Airport CEO Silvio Pippobello.

Commenting on the launch, flydubai Senior Vice President Commercial Operations and E-Commerce Jeyhun Efendi said: “With the launch of our fifth destination in Italy, we look forward to offering our passengers an easier and more reliable travel option between Dubai and Dubai. between Olbia.

“Our flights will be operated by Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, so passengers can enjoy a comfortable travel experience whether they choose business class or economy class,” he said.
