Ground parking spaces in Abu Dhabi will be used free of charge during the Saturday, January 1, 2022 holiday period, until 7:59 am on Sunday, January 2, 2022. In addition, the parking lot M18 of the Mussafah Industrial Park will have an official holiday in 2022.
The Integrated Transportation Center (ITC) of the Ministry of Municipal and Transportation urged the public not to park vehicles in restricted areas and not to block traffic in an announcement. It also urges the public to abide by regulations regarding parking spaces for residents’ permits from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
According to the announcement, the Dabu toll station system will be free of charge on Saturday, January 1, 2022 on the statutory holiday. The toll station charges will resume from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. during the normal peak hours on Sunday, January 2, 2022.
ITC’s Customer Wellbeing Center will be closed during the statutory holiday on Saturday and will resume work on Monday, January 3, 2022. Customers can continue to use the ITC website to apply for ITC services online: www.itc.gov.ae, Darbi and Darb websites and applications.
In addition, customers can dial 800850 or the 24-hour taxi call center: 600535353 to contact the Unified Service Support Center of the Ministry of Municipal and Transportation.
ITC stated that public bus services will operate according to a uniform schedule throughout the week and in accordance with recent improvements in the public transportation network. Ferry services between Jebel Al Dhanna Port and Dalma Island and between Saadiyat and Al Aliah Islands will also continue according to the current schedule.
