The first house concert at Chicago’s new Salt Shed entertainment venue will be held Saturday night, featuring hip-hop duo Big Gigantic.
Concert opens at 7pm, tickets available for purchase online.
The first indoor show was originally scheduled for Friday night, with a performance by the Swedish singer-songwriter. However, the show had to be postponed because Tove Lo contracted the flu.
Tove Lo, who discussed the cancellation of the concert and a second concert in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Twitter, said her vocal doctor ordered her to remain quiet for the next few days.
“I’m devastated and have been looking forward to this,” she said. “I hope you all understand that I want to put on my best show for you guys and give 150% but that’s not physically possible rn. I love you all and I’ll see you soon.”
According to the Salt Shed, audience members will be able to use their tickets at the rescheduled concert. Ticket buyers will be notified once the new concert dates are confirmed, according to officials.
Throughout 2023, more than a dozen artists will perform at the Salt Shed.A full list of performers and concert times can be found here here.
