Speer starred as Guy in the original film, which describes a male stripper performed by a group of unemployed steelworkers. He and the rest of the original cast will reprise his role in the series, which was scheduled to premiere on June 14.
However, that all changed when Disney said Speer was terminated for “inappropriate behavior” during filming in Manchester, England.

Speer hid behind the closet, wondering why she didn’t leave after realizing he had changed.
A producer approached Speer on set a few days later and told him, “There have been several complaints about you.” Speer responded in disbelief.
“What?’ In 31 years, I have never had a single complaint about my behavior.”
The producer then proceeds to tell him, “You were seen undressing in the trailer.”
“I tried to think back and think about the runner, but she hasn’t said anything since she opened the door for me,” he added. “It’s not ‘That’s kind of embarrassing.’ Nothing. We just keep doing our jobs.”
Speer was then sent home for several weeks in hopes that the situation would be resolved. However, after an investigation, his role was ruled out for the rest of the series and he was terminated.
Since leaving the program, Speer has been unable to find work. He expressed how the ordeal affected him, saying, “It’s tragicomic, but they don’t realize how much I’ve been affected.”
He added, “They took my job. They took my reputation. They took my money. They took my mental health.”
In response to the allegations, a Disney spokesperson told daily mail, Explained, “Last year, we were made aware of allegations of misconduct by Hugo Speer on the set of Full Moon. As per policy, an independent investigation was launched. Following the completion of the investigation, we have decided to terminate his contract, effective immediately.”
