The Town of Windsor has issued a liquor and entertainment license to the Future Legends LLC Sports Park.
“All visitors to the Future Legends complex will be permitted to bring alcoholic beverages in designated 21+ areas of the complex: the sports complex, the dome restaurant, the hotel bar and the retail center,” the sports park said in a press statement. The license enables Future Legends to serve alcohol at all live events such as multi-festivals, concerts with 15,000 people, charity events and all sporting events.”
Casey Katofsky, the complex’s executive director of operations, said the group will feature regional and national brands in its offerings.
“Our liquor and liquor partners include High Country Beverage (New Belgium, Modelo/Corona, Coors and White Claw/Mike’s Hard), TightKnit Brewing, The Heart Distillery, Peculier Ales, and RNDC in Bourbon, Rum Liquor partners in the alcohol, tequila and vodka categories, including Breckenridge Distillery as a show partner.
“As a youth sports center, it’s important that safety and comfort are our top priorities in any endeavor we undertake on site,” Katowski said. “Our liquor license does not change our primary goal of providing safe and fun entertainment for people of all ages year-round.” Future Legends is a 118-acre complex that will eventually include a stadium, multiple venues and diamonds, an indoor sports complex, hotels and restaurants.
