G42 supports ecosystem with 15 strategic deals at Gitex Global

[ad_1]

As summarized by Gitex Global, the world’s largest tech and startup hyperconnector event, G42, a leading UAE-based AI and cloud computing technology company, has a strong presence in strengthening its partner ecosystem and sharing insights into future technologies. Insights have come a long way.

During the event, the full scope of the G42 ecosystem was on display, enabling companies to connect with innovators, thinkers and industry movers from leading technology companies around the world.

G42’s successful debut at Gitex was confirmed by 15 signed partnership agreements, highlighting the opportunities in the UAE and the Gulf region, as well as G42’s entire partner ecosystem.

G42 believes in the power of partners and makes a collaborative business approach a core part of its corporate DNA. Building on the company’s extensive global partnership network, Gitex serves as a conduit for expanding the company’s connections with government, energy, smart city, health and infrastructure partners.

Driving progress in the UAE

As the UAE transitions from an extractive economy to a knowledge economy, the implementation of artificial intelligence and disruptive technologies will continue to accelerate this evolution, ushering in the next generation faster and faster. The partnership secured by G42 and its operating companies underscores the need and value of these home-grown capabilities, enabling UAE-based organisations to innovate while working towards the UAE’s mission to be a knowledge-based economy.

Injazat and the Ministry of Health and Prevention signed an agreement to develop numerous digital health solutions that will advance the government’s goal of making the UAE the top smart healthcare region in the world.

Partnerships outside the UAE

As G42 grows, so does the number of partners outside the UAE. This expansion is tangible at GITEX as G42’s Injazat joins forces with Saudi Arabia’s Nesma Infrastructure and Technologies. The new company, Nesma Injazat, will begin operations this month, with offices in Riyadh and Jeddah, and will play a key role in supporting organisations and developing Saudi Arabia’s IT and digital infrastructure as it undergoes rapid digital transformation effect.

Demonstrating the company’s commitment to Egypt as a strategic market for growth and entry point into the wider MEA region, G42 announced an equity investment in Benya Technologies, a leading digital and ICT infrastructure provider in Egypt and the MEA region. Through the partnership, G42 aims to provide the capital and technology needed to further develop Egypt’s digital sector, providing artificial intelligence and critical digital infrastructure such as data centres, telecom towers and cloud technology.

Also during Gitex, G42 Healthcare celebrated its recent strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to globalize its genome sequencing, proteomics and biobanking services, enabling fast and efficient data storage and transfer to Global customers. Through its partnership with AWS, the company plans to deliver omics and insights as an on-demand service—samples can be shipped to G42 Healthcare for sequencing, analysis, and then best-in-class genomic and proteomic data back to customers, all while being safe and secure stored on the AWS cloud system.

As both public and private sector organizations grapple with their own digital transformation journeys, G42 is proud to advance artificial intelligence and technology globally to positively impact the economy. These partnerships will continue to drive collaboration and enhance the G42’s impact on solving the world’s greatest challenges.
