Gal Gadot confirms Wonder Woman 3 role

Gal Gadot will indeed be reprising her role as Wonder Woman in the third installment of the series. Despite doubts and speculations under the new leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran at DC Studios, Gadot confirmed this news during an interaction with ComicBook.com’s Chris Killian before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

She expressed her love for portraying Wonder Woman and mentioned that she would be working with James and Peter for the upcoming movie.

Gadot’s return in Wonder Woman 3 was uncertain after plans for director Patty Jenkins’ return were scrapped when Gunn and Safran took over as co-heads of DC Studios for Warner Bros. Nevertheless, fans can now breathe a sigh of relief with the official confirmation from the actress herself.

As fans anticipate the upcoming film, Gadot is currently gearing up for her Netflix thriller Heart of Stone, co-starring Jamie Dornan and Indian actress Alia Bhatt, set to release on August 11, 2023.
