Galaxy S24 South Korean tech giant Samsung introduced the latest iteration of its popular Galaxy S series on Wednesday, bringing forth a host of new AI-packed features.
Variants and Availability
The newly launched S24 series consists of three variants – Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24. These models are set to hit the UAE market later this month, with pre-orders already available for consumers in the UAE and Gulf region since Wednesday evening.
Pricing Details: Galaxy S24Â
Pricing for the base models of the S24 series ranges from Dh3,199 to Dh3,499, the S24+ is priced between Dh3,899 and Dh4,399, while the Ultra variant will cost between Dh5,099 and Dh6,599. Both Samsung’s Galaxy series and Apple’s iPhone are highly anticipated launches among consumers in the UAE and globally.
AI Features and Advancements
The devices boast intelligent text and call translations, introducing innovative search options for internet browsing. Live call translation is expected to be advantageous for frequent fliers from the UAE.

Sustainability Focus: Recycled Materials
Samsung is emphasizing sustainability with the Galaxy S24 being the first in the Galaxy S series designed with recycled steel and Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a minimum of 40% recycled steel in its speakers and includes a minimum of 10% pre-consumer recycled TPU in the side and volume keys. Packaging for each Galaxy S24 is made from 100% recycled paper material.
Innovative Features
The Galaxy S24 introduces a live translation feature for two-way, real-time voice and text translations of phone calls within the native app. Chat Assist helps maintain conversational tones for messaging, and AI in Samsung Keyboard translates messages in real-time across 13 languages. The device is also the first to debut Circle to Search with Google, an intuitive, gesture-driven search feature.
AI Editing Tools and Security Measures
Galaxy AI editing tools offer features like erase, re-compose, and remaster. Samsung Knox, the defense-grade, multi-layer security platform, ensures end-to-end secure hardware, real-time threat detection, and collaborative protection.
