We extend our deepest condolences to the relatives of Georgia News anchor Giovita Moore who passed away last night. Her station, WSBTV Announcing her death and sharing that she died after battling brain cancer.
According to the radio station, she was diagnosed with glioblastoma after doctors found two lumps on her brain in April. It is worth noting that glioblastoma is not hereditary, and there is currently no cure for this disease. There are only treatments that can slow its progress.
Jovita is a native of New York. He received his bachelor’s degree from Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont, and his master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City. Behind her were her mother, two children and a stepdaughter.
Jovita has been working on the WSBTV team in Atlanta since 1998.
After the news of her death came out, there were mourning in various places.
Tyler Perry said: “We know you are fighting as hard as you can! I will miss your beautiful smile and warm laughter, not to mention seeing you in my living room every day. You will miss it very much, my friend. Many heartfelt prayers to your family. May your soul travel smoothly! Life is only a moment.”
