Global Village, Dubai’s leading family entertainment destination, has launched new attractions including the House of Fear, the region’s scariest haunted house, and Diggers Lab, a hydraulic excavator experience at the entrance of the carnival.

Now in its 27th year, Global Village promises 27 pavilions, more than 3,500 shopping outlets, more than 250 restaurant, cafe and street food options, and glamorous entertainment. Thrill seekers can also enjoy over 175 rides, games and attractions for kids and the young at heart.

The first Ripley’s Believe It or Not! The area’s Odditorium is also returning to the Global Village for the 4th year and welcomes more than 50 new exhibits and a new hero gallery.

Global Village has undoubtedly become a destination for foodies, with a wealth of dining options to suit every taste and palate. With over 250 restaurants, cafes and street food options, it offers a range of new concepts and upgraded dining options, showcasing cuisines from around the world, including a floating market offering mouth-watering Asian dishes.

This season, four beautifully designed double-storey restaurants are added, overlooking the Dragon Lake, where guests can enjoy high-end cuisine. For dessert lovers, the Railway Market is a must-visit, offering a wide variety of chocolates, cakes, pastries, ice cream and traditional sweets.

Guests can also shop and dine at Road to Asia, a new pedestrian street featuring 43 kiosks from 13 Asian countries selling goods from Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Brunei, Laos, Hong Kong, Taiwan , Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and the Philippines.
