Grande Prairie Becomes Destination City

Three projects boost new property tax revenue

Weider said the city also received word that Andretti officials were exploring adding a second location in North Texas and asked Grand Prairie’s business analysts to draw up a map illustrating the best location for the site.

The additions are also expected to complement the city’s momentum with its Epic Waters indoor water park and Epic Entertainment Center, as well as the slightly newer Chicken N Pickle, Bolder Adventure Park and upcoming co-branded Hilton Garden Inn & Homewood Suites, A 13,000-square-foot convention center and many new restaurants opening soon, including Chili founder Larry Lavine’s new Loop 9 BBQ and Milkshake Concepts’ Vidorra cocina de Mexico.
