[ad_1]

Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant Hakkasan Abu Dhabi is gearing up for next year’s Lunar New Year, paying homage to the Year of the Rabbit. From January 21st to February 5th, the iconic restaurant will offer guests a unique menu featuring hearty dishes, delicious desserts and cocktails concocted just for the occasion. Priced at Dhs598, the enticing menu promises not only to inspire the color palette, but also subtle nods to rabbits in the ingredients presented and used throughout. This year, as Hakkasan continues to pay homage to its Chinese roots, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi promises extraordinary revelations by enhancing the guest experience to honor customs.

Ideal for sharing with a significant other or friends, the tantalizing Chinese New Year menu includes welcome cocktails and eight unique dishes. Guests will start with “bunny tail’, a luxury drink that sets the mood for the experience that follows. To whet the appetite, guests can savor Rohei ‘boom toss’octopus salad topped with yuzu plum dressing and chilli garlic vinaigrette, followed by Happy Dim Sum Trio, including delicious seafood dumplings, XO scallops, prawn mizuna and Mooli puffs.Next, the main dishes include Cherry Wood Smoked Roast Duck Served with carrot and kumquat chutney, and Fried Wagyu, full of juicy flavor and aroma. A veritable black sesame mousse, raspberry compote and raspberry sumac sorbet, “Lucky Rabbit” will mark the end of the lavish feast.

The most symbolic celebration will be the Wishing Ribbon Tradition, a custom born centuries ago where guests tie ribbons with New Year’s wishes printed on them around the venue. The tradition of hanging wishing ribbons throughout the restaurant will continue to celebrate bringing good luck for the coming year.

Rabbits symbolize patience and luck, bringing peace and success in the new year. Discreet and considerate, the Rabbit represents humility, grace, and kindness, positive traits shared by many born under this sign.

Promising a curated feast believed to bring good luck, happiness and prosperity in 2023, Hakkasan Abu Dhabi will energize the Chinese New Year in the UAE capital with its specially curated menu.
