Hamdan bin Zayed visits roads and infrastructure projects in Liwa Zayed City

Al Dhafra: Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler of Al Dhafra district, visited several residential land, roads and infrastructure projects in Zayed City and Liwa in Al Dhafra district.

These projects will provide lighting for roads and provide various infrastructure services, including the establishment of stormwater drainage networks, water, electricity, telecommunications networks, sewage networks, bicycle lanes, and irrigation and agricultural networks.

The total number of residential sites benefiting from these services is approximately 1,421 parcels, implemented by Al Dhafra Municipality in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority at a cost of approximately AED 1.277 billion.

Sheikh Hamdan started his journey in Zayed City by visiting a Dh45 million commercial land infrastructure project.

He also looked at the progress of the Basin 21 infrastructure construction project, which includes 183 residential plots at a cost of Dh160 million.

He was then briefed on the infrastructure plans for Basin 20 (comprising 93 parcels) and Basin 22 (comprising 242 parcels).

Sheikh Hamdan also visited a residential land project in Liwa, which includes 231 residential sites and is expected to be completed by April 2023 at a cost of Dh240 million.

Sheikh Hamdan stressed that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, aims to provide all citizens with decent housing that meets the best standards. He stressed the importance of housing stability and well-being for UAE citizens and families.

He added that the projects fulfilled the aspirations of citizens and addressed their economic, developmental and social needs, and commended the Al Dhafra Municipality, the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority and its partners for their efforts to implement the UAE’s leadership by providing housing services The role of human instruction.

Abu Dhabi Housing Authority Director Dr Mohamed Rashid Ahmed Al-Khameli said that UAE citizens are a priority for President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, highlighting It reflects the country’s leadership’s passion for ensuring the stability of citizens’ families.

The authorities have implemented the leadership’s directives to ensure the quality of life and social stability of UAE citizens by implementing housing projects and building service facilities.
