Harlem Fashion Street will host its third annual Fashion Tech & Entertainment Summit on Thursday.
The event will bring together over 75 designers, speakers and workshops to discuss the role of NFTs, AR/VR dressing rooms and artificial intelligence in fashion. It aims to provide Black designers with the knowledge, tools and insights to enhance the consumer experience, integrate modern technology to raise funds, and leverage social media. And explore ways to participate in today’s digital age.
Speakers will include Denise Bradley-Tyson, Founder and CEO of Inspired Luxe; Tieko Neijon, Emotional Intelligence Practitioner; Janelle Burgess, Head of Marketing and Talent at The Drop, and Modupe’ Congleton, Global Amazon Store, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Sex Director.
As the title sponsor of the event, Amazon aims to educate emerging designers on e-commerce business and marketing strategies to help these brands build strong online communities. Amazon will kick off the summit on Wednesday with a dinner for influencers and designers.
