Here’s how UAE tourists can extend their visit visa for another 30 days

Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced that visitors holding 30-day or 60-day visitor visas can extend their stay for an additional 30 days without leaving the country.

Extensions are available for a variety of purposes, including travel, family visits, business meetings, and other personal matters.

The maximum extension period for visitor visa holders is 120 days.

Those who want to extend their visas can contact the travel agency or sponsor that issued the visa.

“The sponsor or travel agent who issued the visa can provide you with information on the extension process, required documents, fees and any other relevant details. It is important to start the process well before your current visa expires to allow sufficient time to allow Delay. Fees for issuing a single tourist visa

  • 30-day tourist visa fee: AED 300 (Rs 6731)
  • Tourist visa fee for 60 days: AED 500 (Rs 11,218) plus VAT (5%)
  • Knowledge Fee: AED 10 (Rs 224)
  • Innovation Fee: AED 10 (Rs 224)
  • Domestic fee: AED 500 (INR 11,218)

Fees for extending tourist visa for single or multiple trips:

  • Visa extension fee: AED 600 (INR 13,462) plus VAT (5%)
  • Additional fees (if the sponsored person is in the country)
  • Knowledge Fee: AED 10 (Rs 224)
  • Innovation Fee: AED 10 (Rs 224)
  • Domestic fee: AED 500 (Rd 11, 218)

Tourists must leave the UAE on the last day of visa validity or extend their visa before it expires or face fines.
