High demand for SOLTUNA continues in UAE
The Solomon Islands Pavilion is taking part in Expo 2020 Dubai from October 2021 to April 2022, impressing various companies and organizations in the fields of tourism, green energy, pharmaceuticals, aviation and trade and economic development etc. Wait.
Abu Dhabi-based Talent SeaFoods Trading, one of the companies to benefit from our participation in Expo 2020, has successfully signed a distributor agreement with SolTuna Limited as an agent for the Middle East and Africa region.
Mr. Mohammed Kutty Valyakath, Managing Partner of Talents SeaFoods Trading, said that since SolTuna products were launched in three well-known supermarkets in Abu Dhabi, we have received a large number of inquiries from other distribution agencies in the UAE who have expressed interest in our tuna products.
In a recent development, the Abu Dhabi-based company took delivery of a 20-foot container full of white tuna flakes and red tuna Wetem Oel. An additional case of seven SolTuna products will be delivered in the UAE before the end of the year.
Mr Valyakath added that various villages and selected shopping malls were also visited as part of their ongoing promotional activities, including public event venues offering free samples.
However, one of the major hurdles facing Talent SeaFoods Trading is the lack of available stock, as this hampers their ability to meet the growing demand for SolTuna products, especially in the UAE, which has a population of 10 million.
Mr. Valyakath expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Moses Kouni Mose for his ongoing support and guidance, and was confident that the business relationship between the two companies will continue to grow, especially in the United Arab Emirates and Solomon Islands.
