Hilton renewed its partnership with UAE-based agritech platform Fresh On Table at Gulfood 2023, with the goal of doubling the amount of local produce sourced at the brand’s hotels in the country.
The ongoing deal between Hilton and Fresh On Table follows a successful partnership last year in which the two entities surpassed their local food sourcing goals. The expanded partnership promises an even bigger commitment in 2023, adding targets and intentional sourcing strategies reaffirming their commitment to supporting local farms and produce.
Hilton previously sourced 440 tonnes of local produce per year for its UAE hotels, and through this new partnership, this is expected to increase to more than 900 tonnes. As part of the partnership, 45 additional product lines have been added, such as herbs and leaf vegetables, with an expected annual production capacity of 50 tonnes.
