Hollywood Partnership Opens New Center in Entertainment District Focused on Cleaning, Safety and Hospitality

Non-profit organizations Hollywood partnership A community dispatch center will open later this month. The goal is to focus on safety, cleanliness and hospitality in entertainment areas. The area served by the organization stretches from Hollywood Boulevard. to La Brea, to Sunset and the Hollywood 101 freeway.

The new center will be located at 6562 Hollywood Blvd. The center will send three “ambassador teams” to proactively patrol day and night, sweep trash cans, remove litter and graffiti, pressure wash sidewalks, conduct safety responses to non-emergency issues, and provide guidance and pointers to help visitors navigate the area with ease.

“The Hollywood Partners Board is dedicated to running the most impactful service,” said Hollywood Partners Board Chair Katie Ullman Zandona. “The HPCDC will provide our stakeholders with fast and easy access to cleaning, safety and hospitality, and will greatly increase our sights and ears on the street. This is the next big step for The Hollywood Partnership and we look forward to serving every individuals to create a better Hollywood.”

In addition to daily services, this unique facility will serve as a joint operations center in partnership with Urban Alchemy and Hollywood 4WRD. A coalition of local services dedicated to ending homelessness in Greater Hollywood actively connects homeless and unwell people on the street with the services they need most.
