ET can confirm that A24 dropped the critically acclaimed Euphoria co-starring actress anne hathaway and michael cole in the studio’s upcoming film virgin maryknown as the “Epic of Pop Music”.
According to the film’s description, Madonna follows a beloved musical artist (played by Hathaway) and her relationship and connection with an iconic fashion designer (played by Cole).
Schafer will play Coel’s fashion designer’s personal assistant, deadline reports.
The project is helmed by David Lowery – best known for his previous work with director A24 ghost story and green knightand his critically acclaimed film aren’t they saints, ghost story And, recently, peter pan and wendy.
The Virgin Mary will also play original songs written for the film by Jack Antonoff and Charli XCX.
